About Us

 

Sorelle is italian for “sisters”, and Sorelle Designs is the results of the creative union of sisters Andrea and Susanna Deering.

Susanna attended George Brown College in the Graphic Design program. Her career path took her into the sales field, but she has always been drawn back to more artistic endeavors.

Andrea comes from a fine arts background, attending The Ontario College of Art and Design in the drawing and painting program. She painted murals and faux finishes and was featured on the television show CityLine before the birth of her children. Since then she has been primarily a stay at home mom, needing an artistic outlet that wasn’t messy, and was “mom” friendly she was naturally drawn to graphic design.  After years of experimenting on her own, creating numerous invitations, announcements, and cards for friends and family  she enrolled in a publishing course to upgrade her technical skills, graduating with a diploma in Honours. 

Working together for the first time three years ago while planning an anniversary party for their parents, they discovered that they couldn’t find the invitations they were looking for, something custom, unique, and fitting for the Paris theme. They ended up creating the invitations themselves to rave reviews, they were perfect!

Since then they have designed custom invitations for baby showers, wedding showers, and various parties, announcements and thank you cards for weddings and births, and seasonal photo cards.
